Frequently Asked Questions

Do you Deliver? - Pick up is in Wiarton, but we do deliver to Owen Sound on Thursdays for $5 fee. In some circumstances, delivery can be arranged for a fee, depending on location.
Do you have a storefront? - At this moment we are a home based made-to -order bakery. Our kitchen is Grey Bruce Public Health Unit certified and undergoes yearly inspections.
How far in advance should I place my order? - The sooner the better! Custom decorations and cookie cutters take a week or longer to get mailed so let me know as soon as possible to get the best service!
Do you accept rush orders? - Depending on the order load, yes we do last minute rush orders. There is a rush order fee depending on the size/complexity of your order!
Do I need to pay for my order in advance? - Yes, all order must be paid in advance via e-transfer to: stephanie@southbrucebaking.com. Cash is accepted, but a deposit must be made for orders over $60. For orders under $60, cash upon pick up is fine!
How will I know where and when to pick up? - You will be contacted via your preferred method of communication to determine which day is best for your order pick up. After payment/deposit is received we will let you know our location. (We are based in Wiarton a block from the downtown core!)
Why do you not make cakes/cookies for Disney Characters, movies, video games, sports teams ect. ? - It is against the law to recreate and sell trade marked images, however if we can obtain permission then we will gladly fulfill your order.

Please note that we do not create any baked good creations that contain trade marked or copyright images. A 50% deposit is required to confirm your order. Let's get inspired together to make your perfect custom treat!
